EVOLVE Canadian Research Peptides

Peptides represent a unique class of compounds for which there is growing interest with respect to therapeutic applications. Since these small chains of amino acids already play significant roles in biology as messenger molecules, synthetic peptides present a unique opportunity to mimic these natural pathways. In reality, several of the peptide drugs currently on the market are essentially ‘‘replacement therapies” that add back or supplement peptide hormones in cases where endogenous levels are sub-optimal or non-existent.

FAQ's

Are your products certified and made in a lab?

All of our products are manufactured in Canada and are certified >98% pure by HPLC. Mass spectroscopy is used to confirm sequence accuracy.

How should I store my peptides?

Prior to reconstitution, peptides should be stored at -20C (freezer) and protected from light. Once reconstituted, they should be stored at 4C (fridge) protected from light.

How do I reconstitute my peptides?

Peptides should be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water only. Using an insulin needle, add the required amount of water by gently and slowly injecting into the vial. Adding the diluent too aggressively can destroy the peptide.

How much bacteriostatic water do I add?

Here is the formula:

  • Step 1: 10,000 mcg (this is the amount per vial) / desired dosage in mcg = # of doses per vial
    • Step 1 Example: 10,000mcg/250mcg = 40 Doses per vial
  • Step 2: (# of doses per vial) X (desired volume per dose*) = total volume to add to vial
    • Step 2 Example: 40 doses X 0.05mL (equal to 5iu) = 2.0mL (Add 2mL to vial)
  • Step 3: Inject desired volume per dose
    • Step 3 Example: Draw up 0.05mL (5iu) into syringe for one dose

*Recommended range for volume per dose is 0.05ml (or 5iu on insulin syringe) to 0.10ml (or 10 iu on insulin syringe)
